I’m so excited to be going to one of the world’s most famous cities next week… Paris! But with so many things to do, see and experience, a little planning needs to be done. So here’s how I’m planning for the perfect Parisian break!
WHERE I’M STAYING
Instead of staying at a hotel, I have dediced to try an AirBnB. I’ve never stayed somewhere in an AirBnB before, but as it was cheaper and much nicer than many of the hotels I saw, I thought I’d give it a go. My trip is for four days and three nights, staying about a fifteen minute walk from The Louvre. And I couldn’t be more excited to be going to the place famous for great food, fashion and beauty!

WHAT I WANT TO SEE
As my trip is only for three days, it’s important to get enough into that time as possible. Here’s everything that I want to do:
- Eiffel Tower
- The Louvre
- Champs-Élyséess
- Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris
- The Wall of Love
- Moulin Rouge
- Shakespeare and Company
- Arc de triomphe
- Palace of Versailles
- Latin Quarter, Paris
I also want to have nice walks and visit traditional French Cafe’s and restaurants, and hopefully stay away from chains as much as possible. So instead of getting the metro everywhere, I’m bringing my trainers and going to try and walk from attraction to attraction, enjoying the beauty that is Paris.
THE PARIS EFFECT
I’ve always wanted to visit Paris, and perhaps I am more in love with the idea of it than actually the place itself – but I hope that isn’t true.
I’m bringing my French translation book, Duolingo app, and my finest gear and look forward to experiencing Paris for the first time!
Have you been to Paris? Did you like it? Would you go again? Let me know in the comments. And stay tuned for all the Paris blog posts about to come about my trips!

I love this post! I went to Paris when I was 10 but definitely didn’t appreciate the beauty. I wouldn’t take it for granted now! Moulin Rouge is the dream! xx
Thank you so much Stacie, really kind of you. You must go back, you’d love it I am sure! Xx
