It’s the 27th of December… and now Christmas is done, it’s time to start getting ready for 2019. And with all the red themed gifts I got this year, it’s easier than ever for me to be RED-y!
I’m so happy and lucky to have received such wonderful presents this Christmas, and I hope you enjoy how aesthetically pleasing they all are together as much as me. Looks like I’ll be painting 2019 red!
Red ‘Annika’ Boots – Dorothy Perkins
I’ve always wanted a red pair of boots, but I’ve never had the confidence to buy or wear them. I didn’t think they suited me or I had a good enough wardrobe to be able to wear them, but as I saw these for £15 in Dorothy Perkins – reduced from £35 – I thought why not? I could use some of my Christmas money! If you can’t treat yourself at Christmas, when can you?
I love these boots in particular for their leather feel, vibrant colour and the black stripe that goes across the inside. They hell is also not very high and have cushioned insoles, so they’re extremely comfortable to wear!
As one of my Christmas presents, I was lucky enough to be gifted this beautiful red/ black patterned bag from Topshop. I’m sorry that I can’t give you price and a link to their page, but I don’t want to find out it’s price as it was a gift!
It’s a great size for day or night, and it has a couple of sections inside to segregate your money to your phone and so on. Also, because it’s not fully red, it goes with a lot more things. I love it so much, so thank you Debbie and John!
Red Beret – Accessorize
This was another purchase I made with my Christmas money. It’s just the cutest red beret ever from Accessorize, and I bought it to go with my new red boots! I’m not 100% confident wearing a beret yet, so if you have any style tips that would be useful on how to style it, please do let me know in the comments! I’m looking to get my French on when I got to Paris in February, so nailing the beret look is a must this year.
I’m a massive stationary lover, so when my lovely Secret Santa got me this amazing Moleskine Red notebook to help my blogging, I was so happy. It’s a smaller size notebook, which is perfect for writing notes on the go because I can just pop it in my bag. I can even fit it in my new bag from Topshop! I’m looking forward to using it in 2019!
So these are the beautiful red themed presents I got for Christmas this year. And please don’t think this was a post to boast what I got, but merely for aesthetically pleasing purposes.
Did you get everything you wanted for Christmas this year, or any gifts that surprised you? Maybe you’re getting ready for 2019 in a certain way? Please let me know in the comments, I’d love to hear from you!
